Founding of the
Superhero Training Academy
I was sitting in a Costco food court with my family. Not the healthiest place, I know, but we were there and we were hungry. Looking over, I saw a boy who was between the ages of 10 and 12 years old. My guess is that he weighed close to 140 pounds. My heart broke looking at him, realizing that everything in this life is against his physical health. From food to entertainment to social media, it was all trying to do the same thing: keep him from being physically fit.

This is when the idea of Superhero Training Academy was born. I wanted a way to motivate kids to move and exercise without it being something they had to do. Instead, it would be something they wanted to do. Through storytelling, we encourage children to participate and be a part of the story.

As I went home after the Costco experience, I started looking at the health crisis that isn't really talked about: the obesity of our children. I determined right then and there to work on a program that could help fight the obesity curve. I know a lot has to happen to change the curve, but my hope is that the Superhero Training Academy starts a movement to help our children.

The goal with STA is to generate enough revenue to build out a larger company that can reach more children. We obviously are not a big movie studio and cannot put millions of dollars into a scene. But the more we grow, the more we will invest in creating a better experience for the youth of today. We genuinely care about their well being and want them to become the best versions of themselves.

Please consider joining today to help your little hero on a path that can affect the rest of his or her life.
